Oscars Costumes!

Presenting...Nick Verreos at the FIDM 21st Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition--FIDM Museum & Galleries Los Angeles

Two Tuesdays ago was the public opening of the 21st Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition. I was sad to have missed the Gala Opening Night Party a couple of Saturdays ago, since I was in NYC for NY Fashion Week. But I did hear that it was a fabulous party. As the Official Spokesperson for my Alma Mater, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM, I had the privilege (when I got back last week) to get an inside peek at the Costumes in the exhibition. The Exhibition has over 100 costumes from 20 films including the five Best Costumes Nominees. Before we get to the Costumes, yesterday, I spent an entire day doing press for the exhibition with everyone from Vietnam,China, and Brazil TV to...

Mexico: Nick Verreos with Mexico's Azteca Siete Correspondent Antonella Michelena--Michelena is actually from the State of Valencia in Venezuela but lives and works in Mexico. LOVED her from the minute I saw that canary yellow strapless jumpsuit!

Univision's "Primer Impacto" TV Show--Nick Verreos with Univision "Primer Impacto" correspondent Ninette Rios at the FIDM "21st Annual Art Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition"

Nick Verreos and KTLA's Gayle Anderson--FIDM "21st Annual Art Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition"--I did several fun segments with my FAVORITE LA TV Diva, Miss Gayle Anderson as well.

Nick Verreos and Costume Designer Eduardo Castro--Eduardo Castro designed the costumes for "Ugly Betty" (among others) and he also is the reason ABC's "Once Upon A Time" looks so good---he's the Costume Designer for that TV Show. Eduardo happened to be in yesterday checking out the Exhibition and yes, he had some DISH on WHO he may have voted for Best Costume (for the Oscars!). But I am not going to tell.

Pictures from the Opening Night Gala Party--which I sadly missed, but here were some of the fabulous attendees:
